An unnamed newspaper publishing company with its head office in the Ikeja area of Lagos has vacancies for the positions of Editors, On-line Editor, Editorial Page Editor and Reporters/Correspondents.

Applicants for the post of Editors, On-line Editor and Editorial Page Editor should have a minimum of ten years experience with a media house and a good first degree or its equivalent in any discipline.

A relevant Master’s degree  is required for  the three posts while experience in reporting Energy, Property, Aviation, Finance, Law, Info Tech, Politics and Sports will be an added advantage for the Editorship positions.

VACANCIES IN BROADCAST MEDIA

A new media conglomerate in Yola, Adamawa state has vacancies for innovative and creative persons to join the broadcast outfit.

Some of the available positions are Managing Director/CEO with the reference number (Ref MD 01), Director, Finance and Administration (Ref DFA 02), Director, Marketing (Ref DM 03), Director, TV services (Ref DTVS 04) and Director, Radio services (Ref DRS 05).

Applicants for these positions are expected to have not less than ten years cognate experience, a third of which should be at top management position in a reputable broadcast or related organization.

However, an  MD applicant should  have not less than fifteen years cognate experience.

Other available positions are Bureau chiefs for Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kadunna, Sokoto and Enugu with reference number Ref BCA 06, Ref  BCL 07, Ref BCPH 08, Ref BCKD 09, Ref BCSK 010 and Ref BCEN 011 respectively.

The Director of Finance/Admin and Director of Marketing   are expected to have  a minimum of BSc/HND Accountancy and BSc/HND Marketing/Business Administration/Mass Communication respectively with an MBA as an advantage.
